Her first ice cream cake (chosen by Imtiyaz, of coz). She finished off a whole slice!
Hanan turned 1 last Sunday on 11.12.11. It felt just like yesterday when the whole family were back in Penang for a cousin’s wedding leaving only me and Mr. Hubs preparing ourselves to check in to the hospital to be induced. Delivery was much quicker than the first, followed by a fairly speedy recovery.
Her brother adores her to bits, and I can’t possibly describe the feeling to have her in our lives.
Happy birthday baby, and don’t grow up too fast!
p.s. Just in case you are wondering why the background is a hospital bed, we brought the cake to be shared with niece, Sarah Jameelah who was hospitalized that day.

For adults hair is cut a certain way to cover up the chubby cheeks. Obviously babies can get away with anything ;)
